| The American Institute of Historians and History Educators (AIHHE) mission is to promote teaching substantive American history to students from kindergarten through college and on through adulthood. To that end, the AIHHE will host an annual conference (beginning in 2008) to discuss how to best promote History Education and to give teachers the opportunity demonstrate effective methods to bring substantive historical content into the classroom. AIHHE will also promote the teaching of substantive historical content through a periodic publication. | |||||||||||
